Boston College: Eagles Deli
A go-to spot for BC students, Eagles Deli has become a fan-favorite institution in Brighton’s Cleveland Circle over the years. The restaurant serves up your typical American deli fare, with classics like the sunrise breakfast sandwich, plus a variety of speciality burgers and wraps. The main attraction is, of course, the towering Eagles Challenge, consisting of five pounds of burger, 20 pieces of bacon and 20 pieces of American cheese. If you can’t finish the $69.99 monster, expect to see your face plastered on Eagles’ “Wall of Shame.”

There’s no shortage of food options around BU’s lengthy campus, but Mei Mei is definitely one of the area’s shining stars. The restaurant offers a modern take on Chinese American cusine with dishes like pierogi dumplings and kimchi fried rice. We suggest grabbing the mouth-watering double awesome, a scallion pancake sandwich packed with pesto, cheddar cheese and eggs.
