This Thursday is a special edition of Brooklyn Bowl’s weekly Bowl Train, featuring Talib Kweli with an album release party for “Radio Silence,” the DJ’s eighth studio album and the first to drop since 2015. Street Smart: Intersection of Art and Design in the City
Lifelong New Yorkers will confirm it: There are always new ways to look at this city. You can get a new perspective this month at the SVA Chelsea Gallery, where 19 artists display multimedia pieces including murals, drawings, paintings and sculptures. Street Smart is an interactive and site-specific exhibition where all of the pieces seen together are the real work of art, just like NYC as a whole is greater than its parts. DRUNK: A Night of Art, Drinking and Torah
