On Saturday, thousands of costumed canines and their humans took over Tompkins Square Park for the 27th annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade. We’ve rounded up some of the most creative looks, from a Dog-ald Trump wearing a roll of toilet paper around his neck with “Hurricane Relief” written on it, to a corgi that went as the Staten Island Ferry, to a group costume of dogs dressed as handmaids from “The Handmaid’s Tale,” posing with a poster with the words “ME TOO,” after the viral social media campaign. If you missed the parade, you can celebrate another staple of Dog-o-ween next Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Great PUPkin Dog Costume Contest at Fort Greene Park.
