“The Bachelorette” is finally coming to an end. The show is down to its final three contestants, and the final episode — airing Monday, August 7 — is nigh. But one of Rachel Lindsay’s BFFs might have already spoiled the ending.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Astrid Loch — Lindsay’s old pal from the last season of “The Bachelor” — casually mentioned some vacation plans of the engaged couple that could be more than they seem. Looks like Loch isn’t as practiced as Lindsay is when it comes to loose lips, eh?
“They are going to Dallas to have a party there,” Loch said. “He gets to meet all of her friends and non-‘Bachelor’ people too. And then they’re going to Miami after that to have an engagement party there, too.”
Miami just happens to be the city that Bryan Abasolo lives — and it’s not like you just go to Miami to have an engagement party when you got that ABC money, right?
Loch doesn’t name Abasolo directly, but there’s still enough conjecture to jump to faraway conclusions, you know?
Lindsay, 32, opened up before the premiere, saying that as the series first black lead, she didn’t want it all to be about race. Dream big, babe! “Race didn’t play in as a factor when it came to choosing men along the way,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “In my final decision, I just went with my heart and the person I found my forever with.
“It’s just who I was developing connections with,” she continued. “And I wasn’t paying attention to a race, career or an age. It was just what I was feeling with them.” Must be nice!
But also, this literally means nothing. Reality Steve spoils “The Bachelorette” every season, and he’s never wrong. And if he’s right about who Rachel chooses this season? Well. Trust me when I say this: Rachel made the right choice. This Rachael approves!
