She tells Good Housekeeping UK,“I didn’t want babies. I wouldn’t have been a good mom for babies… When people were pressuring me to get married and have children, I knew I was not going to be a person that ever regretted not having them, because I feel like I am a mother to the world’s children.” Related:Oprah to make her grand return to television The 63-year-old also considers herself a mother figure to the 172 girls at her Leadership Academy boarding school in Johannesburg, South Africa. I too, one day, would like to have a magazine with a picture of my face on it every month. I too would like a Steadman and a Gayle. I too want to chill with Ava Duvernay like it’s no big thing.
