The beard trend might win the hipster vote the world over but, at the moment, politicians aren’t bristling with enthusiasm for the look.
Josh Steimle, the CEO behind digital marketing agency MWI, decided to add some facial fuzz to 10 of the U.S. presidential candidates.
“I wanted to know what 10 of the 2016 U.S. presidential candidates, or likely candidates, would look like with beards. Being a supporter of equal rights, that meant including the women as well,”Steimle said. The majority of men who have held the top job have been clean shaven, including the Founding Fathers. Todate, only 11 U.S. presidents have grown facial hair during their tenure in office.
