If heaven is a place on earth that it might be one where pizza is free.

But for 19-year-old Hannah Spooner, it’s one where no onegoes hungry.

When Spooner and her partner Pete Kadry won a Little Caesar’s contest offering $500 worth of free pizza for a year, all she could think about was giving the food away, according to Inside Edition.

“I just lost a lot of weight, I wasn’t trying to eat a lot of pizza,” she told the show.

The gesture wasn’t about vanity, however, Spooner wanted to donate the pizza to a local nonprofit.

“Detroit is going through a lot of negativity,” Spooner told Inside Edition. “I wanted somewhere close to home that would be affected by my donation.”

Spooner and Kadry eventually decided to donate their pizza vouchers to Covenant House Michigan, which helps homeless youth and provides three meals a day to residents, according to Fox13.

“I just know there are other people out there who have nothing. And I don’t think I should be eating a year’s worth of free pizza when there are people who go hungry at night,” Sponner told the station.

“I look at young people and they believe it’s very important to give back to the community,” one of Covenant House’s administrators said to Fox13. “But I don’t know if they would give pizza back. This was wonderful to find out that someone cared enough about these young people here at Covenant House to provide this pizza for them.”
