Three girls missing from Brooklyn housing development

Three Brooklyn girls, between the ages of 10 and 13, vanished on Sunday from their homes at a housing complex in Canarsie.

The trio was most recently seen in the Bay View Houses, where they all live, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, detectives told Pix11.

Authorities have not released the names or photos of the girls, Pix11 added, also stating that the girls are not related.

It was unknown if any of the missing girls has had a history of running away, police said to NBC4 in a related report. All appeared to be in good physical and mental condition.

An active NYPD investigation was underway, NBC4 added.
