RELATED: Get out on NYC’s waters: kayaking, sailing, surfing and more The gray titis are part ofa mixed-species habitat that recreates their nativeSouth American rainforest in the zoo’sWorld of Birds.
Luckily for zoo visitors, these primates are active during the day and hang out in trees. They’re also monogamous, with males helping to raise babies, so watch forsome family “aaaw” moments. (Yes, this is one of the species that wind their tails together, in case you didn’t think they could get any cuter.) Check the familyout in action in this video, and if you’d like to see them in person the Bronx Zoo is just expanded its hours to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 5:30 p.m. on weekends through October.
