Thieves in Newark, New Jersey were feeling a little ambitious Friday. Instead of stealing a simple handbag, they took off with a tractor-trailer packed with a half million dollars worth of Coach bags, police said. The luxury handbags went missing from a warehouse in the city around 8:30 a.m., Press of Atlantic City reported. Four pallets worth of the purses were in the truck, which was parked at SalSon Logistics, a storage facility,PIX11 News reported. The bags range in price from about $90 to $1,400, according to the company’s website.
Police are investigating the incident.
