Turkeys gone wild in Boston

It was the last hurrah for a gang of turkeys roaming Brooklineearly Wednesday morning.

The indiginous birds frolicked in leaves and soaked in every last ounce offreedom as they prepared to gofrom woodland wanderers to the plates of hungry Americans for the annual Thanksgiving feast Thursday.

Just kidding— these birds will stay right where they belong: in the wild.

Americans will consume more turkey on Thursday than any other day of the year. Most people will be indulging in fattened-up, farm-raised birds courtesy of their local supermarket.
