The UFC will be offering refunds to ticket-holders for Saturday night’s UFC 200 event in Las Vegas.
The scheduled main event has been compromised after Jon “Bones” Jones potentially violated policy by the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
“They found somethingin one of my samples that I have no clue what it is,” Jones said. “I don’t even know how to pronounce it. I’ve been taking the same supplements the majority of my career. I’ve been so outspoken about being against any type of performance enhancers. To this day, I’m extremely against performance enhancers …The whole thing sucks. Being labeled as someone who would cheat hurts more than anything else I’ve ever been through in my career.” RELATED: Kendall Jenner winning the Kardashian sports player dating war Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt will now be the main event.
The ticket prices to the event are still steep, likely because of the depth of the card and the novelty of having been at UFC 200. The cheapest ticket available on StubhubThursday afternoon was $448. The most expensive ticket was going for $4,000. The prices for UFC’s signature event pale in comparison to 2015’s Mayweather – Pacquiao fight, however. The average price for that fight was going for $6,268 on Stubhub and there were several tickets being sold for around $40,000.
