The sh—talking in the NBA isn’t quite up to snuff to the UFC’s, as Conor McGregor shredded Draymond Green this past weekend. McGregor recently wore a No. 23 Warriors jersey, and Green (who currently wears No. 23 for the Warriors) took to Instagram to tell McGregor that he was rooting for Mayweather in the upcoming fight.
“We rocking with Floyd bro not you … take that off bruh @theNotoriousMMA,” Green posted.
McGregor quickly replied, making clear it was the jersey of former Warriors player CJ Watson.
“That’s CJ Watson mate,” McGregor replied. “I don’t know who the f— you are. No disrespect tho kid, keep hustling and stay in school.
“Now ask yourself why I’m rocking CJ when I don’t know or give a f— about basketball. I dribble heads off the floor. Not a ball. This is no game here kid.”
I mean … that’s just perfect.
The Watson jersey has great significance in that Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, had a relationship with Watson around the time she was seeing Mayweather.
