The most important part of a college campus might just be the dining hall — there’s a reason the “freshman 15” weight gain is so well-known — and students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst have apparently hit the culinary jackpot. The Princeton Review gave the college its vote as having the best campus food,Bostonmagazine pointed out. To celebrate, the university mascot, Sam the Minuteman, went on the “Today” show Tuesday morning to serve such dining-hall samples as pulled pork sliders and mille-feuille, a French pastry.
