[UPDATE Monday 10:30 a.m.] Police have identified the body found inside a burning Roxbury house last Friday as 69-year-old Santo Alcadio Bernabel, whom they say was stabbed to death.
The fire damaged a property at 104 Winthrop St. Police and fire officials responded to the blaze just before 9 p.m. Friday.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
Boston Police, Boston Fire and Suffolk County prosecutors are continuing their investigations.
