An eighth-grader’s graduation speech is going viral for all the right reasons.
JackAiello, who recently graduated from Thomas Middle School in the Chicago area, took a political slant in his speech to his peers, educators and the audience, impersonating Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and other personalities in the 2016 presidential election. “Politics has been something he’s been interested in for several years,”Aiello’sdad, John, told ABC News.”He’s always been good with impressions, so while watching along with his mom and I, he picked up phrases and mannerisms of the candidates.” Jack, who according to ABC would like to be president himself, competed with other classmates to deliver a speech a graduation.
“We brainstormed some quirky memories from school to work into the speech,” the boy’s mom, Carla, said.”His classmates were encouraging of one another and when he delivered the speech, he got quite the reaction.”
