A contestant on “America’s Got Talent” was almost severely injured when a stunt went horribly wrong during a performance on Tuesday night’s show.

Daredevil and stunt performer Ryan Stock and his fiancee AmberLynn Walker attempted to perform a stunt where she would use a crossbow and shoot a flaming arrow at a small target Ryan was holding in his mouth. The target was attached to a long rod that he swallowed.

The stunt didn’t go as planned when AmberLynn fired the flaming arrow and missed Stock’s target, striking him in the neck.

The accident left AGT judges Howie Mandel, Mel B., Heidi Klum and Howard Stern in shock, as they could not believe what just happened. The camera cuts to Stock grabbing his neck in pain.

Stock let everyone know he was OK despite how scary the mishap looked.

When the show returned from a commercial break, host Nick Cannon let the audience know he was being examined by EMTs and appeared to be fine.

After the broadcast, Stock tweeted to his fans and followers to let them know he’s grateful he wasn’t severely injured.

“We had a serious mishap tonight outage live on @nbcagt,”Stock wrote in atweet. “A very unfortunate mechanical failure but I am very fortunate to walk away from it,” he added.
