If you’re on #TeamCara, you think Cara Delevingne is a smart no-nonsense talent who rejects frivolity. If you’re not, you think she’s a sarcastic beyotch.
Some may even say she’s both after a team of California news anchors pilloried the 22-year-old model-actress for being “in a mood” Wednesday morning.
The trouble started when Delevingne was introduced as “Carla” instead of “Cara” in a Good Day Sacramento interview to promote her new movie, Paper Towns.
It got worse when they asked what actor Zach Braff called a condescending question: Did she read the John Green novel from which the flick is adapted?
“Did you get a chance to read it or do you even have time to sit and read these days you’re so busy?” asked one of the Cali anchors.

Miss Cara was clearly annoyed.
“Uh, no. I never read the book or the script,” she replied sarcastically. “I kind of winged it.”
“No, of course (I did),” she quickly added. “John Green is an incredible author, so really if you haven’t read his books, you should.”
The anchors accused her of being “in a mood” and “irritated,” which she said she wasn’t.
They also told her she looked tired.
“I saw you in London talking a couple weeks ago on TV, and you seemed a lot more excited about it than you do right now. Are you just exhausted?” celeb reporter Mark Allen queried.
“I’m still very excited,” she shot back.
“The premiere was last night. It was an emotional night, it felt like the end of an era. But I’m not any less excited than I was a couple weeks ago. Maybe I had a bit more energy, it’s the morning.”
“You do seem a bit irritated,” anchor Marianne McClary said.
“Perhaps it’s just us.”
“Yeah, I think it’s just you,” Delevingne agreed.
Ba-boom.
“We’ll let you go then, how about that? We’ll let you go take a little nap, maybe get a Red Bull, how about that?” McClary said as the segment closed.
“She was a in a mood! Jeez Louise.”
Delevingne later tweeted that the silly Americans just didn’t get her.
“Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour,” she wrote.
Boy George hilariously tweeted back: “I do.”
Delevingne, who is BFFs with singer Taylor Swift has also reportedly drawn the ire of supermodel Kate Moss, who is reportedly pissed that she left the Storm Models — for which Moss still labors — to go Hollywood.
The Sun reports Moss has “blacklisted” her for leaving — and for a fight earlier this year with fashion legend and Moss pal Naomi Campbell.
“It’s very unfortunate and hopefully might be a temporary thing, but they’re definitely not friends at the moment,” the Sun reported earlier this week.
Somehow, we think Carla … uh, oops, we mean Cara, will be just fine.
