VIDEO: Eagles’ Brent Celek pranks Wawa customers

Nothing brightens your day like that first cup of coffee, right?

For a lucky—or maybe not-so-lucky—group of Wawa customers, that cup came with a conversation with Eagles tight end Brent Celek.

Celek, dressed in a Wawauniform, hovers over customers at the espresso machine, pumps gallons of milk (“This is the Wawa workout,” he says) and tries to strike up conversations over sugar-to-coffee ratio and fantasy football.

The too-chatty Celekhas only good intentions in this video prank, posted to YouTube by Whistle Sports in partnership with Wawa, but it seems most customers aren’t having it.

In fact, only one patron actually recognizes Celek, who’s been an Eagle since 2007.

“You’re a true fan,” Celek tells that customer. “They say you’re not a true Philadelphian until you work at Wawa.”

Uh, do they say that, Brent?
