VIDEO: I’ve saved more black lives than Beyoncé, Giuliani says

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani is not as psyched about Beyoncé’s VMA performance as the rest of America was.

Guiliani told “Fox and Friends” on Monday that he has“saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage.”

The 15-minute spectacle on Sunday included a medley of Beyoncé’s songs from her latest album “Lemonade” with dancers, lights and choreography used to make a statement against police brutality.

“Her dancers were circling around her and one by one, they fell to the ground, and there were red lights underneath them, and that was supposed to symbolize cops killing black individuals,” “Fox and Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said when asking the former mayor about the performance.

“You’re asking the wrong person because I had five uncles who were police officers, two cousins who were, and one who died in the line of duty,” Giuliani responded. “I ran the largest and best police department in the world, the New York City Police Department.

“And I saved more black lives than any of those people you saw on stage by reducing crime and particularly homicide by 75 percent.”

Giuliani also had words for Queen Bey and her Beyhive after her Super Bowl 50 half-time show which used Black Panther imagery.

“This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive,” Giuliani said the day after, New York Daily News reported.
