VIDEO: Milkshake Squirrel Steals Shake Shack from NYC Garbage

Move over, Pizza Rat, there’s a new, more adorable food-stealing vermin on the scene. This must be the season for spotting animals making desperate bids for discarded food, because this squirrel liberating a Shake Shack milkshake from a trashcan is super-cute. It’s clearly so into the thick, sugary bounty that it doesn’t mind some up-close camera work. And it doesn’t take long for the onlookers to dub him “Shake Squirrel,” despite their concerns about his impending tummy ache.
