The inaugural Desert Trip Festival in California has already been dubbed the old people’s Coachella, aka Oldchella, because of the shared location and the, ahem, mature crowd. The festival brought together six of the most iconic names in classic rock including the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney. Not one to play to stereotypes, McCartney proved that music crosses the boundaries of age and time when he brought 28-year-old Rihanna onstage for a performance of their single “FourFiveSeconds.” The audience sang along to the single, co-written by Kanye West and McCartney, although it’s up for debate how many of the words they knew.
