Video: ‘SNL’ shares the never-before-seen alternate ‘Casablanca’ ending

Everyone knows “Casablanca” has a famous ending, with Humphrey Bogart’s Rick sending off the love of his life to protect her. Thanks to the new “Saturday Night Live” version, we can see how things might have ended if Rick was a little more explicit about why Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) couldn’t stay behind. If nothing else, watching Kate McKinnon’s Ilsasaying “No” about a thousand different ways should definitely be in the movie, but her efforts to ditch J.K. Simmons’ Rick and hop on that plane get funnier and funnier. Let’s all start adding the romantic gesture of “waving out of one of those little windows” to our lives. Because nothing says “I love you” like “You’ve given me a lot to think about while I’m riding that plane.”
