Mark Zuckerberg declared 2016 his “Year of Running,” with the aim to log 365 miles this year, and over 85,000 people have joined his Facebook group devoted to the cause. But let’s be real: Jogging on the treadmill can get a little boring. Fitness equipment company Technogym is hoping to make quality time on the treadmill more fun by making the first music interactive treadmill, allowing runners to run to the beat of what’s on their workout playlists. The treadmill selects what songs to play from the playlist according to the number of steps taken per minute. So it will save those club bangers for the peak of your workout.
