Early voting in the state opens Monday, and runs through Nov. 4, and can be completed in person or via mail. For voters who want to cast their ballot by mail, an application must be submitted to the city Elections Department before Nov. 4 by mail or email. A ballot will then be mailed, which voters can mail back or drop off in person.

Voters who submit a ballot early will not be able to change their vote on Election Day, which is Nov. 8.

Voting times and locations are determined by municipality, and some will only have one early voting location, so voters are encouraged to check with their town for details or to visitwww.massearlyvote.com.
