WATCH: Ridiculously cute lion cub needs a name

This is not a drill. I repeat. This is not a drill.

This 5-week-old adorable pat of butter needs a name.

The lion cub lives at Fresno Chaffee Zoo in California in an enclosure he shares with his mom, Kiki. He was born on Oct. 11 and is the only surviving cub in a litter of three. He is the first lion cub born at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo since 1968, according to The Fresno Bee.

Zoo visitors can buy a $1 wooden token with their favorite name on it and put it in the ballot box near the lion enclosure. The money raised will help aid conservation efforts for large carnivores in Tanzania, according to the zoo’s website.

Voting continues through Nov. 27. The zoo’s staff have whittled the choices down to six Swahili names:Enzi (powerful), Kijani (warrior), Asani (rebellious), Erevu (clever), Mansa (king) and Bwani (gentleman).

When the contest is over, the name will be announced, but the cub won’t be ready for his public for another month or two.

The little lion is preparing to meet his 2-year-old sister,Zamaya, who is anxious to be back in the enclosure with her mom. The so-cute-it’s-silly cubhas doubled in size since his birth day, although his body weight is still no match for his mom’s tongue baths which, as seen in the video, tend to drag him around the floor.
