The reactions of conservative women to the sexual-assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have made news in recent days, from a CNN panel in which a GOP operative said, “Tell me what boy hasn’t done this in high school” to a mother of two daughters who told an MSNBC reporter that groping was “not a big deal.”
As Kavanaugh testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday afternoon, responding to Christine Blasey Ford‘s earlier testimony that Kavanaugh had tried to rape her in high school, a number of conservative women took to Twitter to show support under the #IStandWithBrett hashtag.
Fox News host Tomi Lahren tweeted her approval of Kavanaugh’s performance, in which he read a prepared statement in a near-shout, teared up several times and interrupted Democratic senators’ questions. “Brett Kavanaugh is not backing down, he’s not curling up in the corner, he’s not playing dead. He’s coming out swinging and knocking these quacks out of the park! Get em, Brett!” she wrote.

Lahren added: “When these man-hating Leftists say ‘all women should be believed,’ what they mean is ‘all LIBERAL women should be believed.’ #IStandWithBrett”

A number of users claimed to have been sexually assaulted and did not find Ford’s account of her experience credible.
i am a survivor of 38 years and i didn’t believe one word of ford’s prepared statement and testimony.
not only does she insult real victims of these types of crimes, she also destroys the lives of the falsely accused…without batting an eye.#IStandWithBrett— kimberly mc andrews (@kimberly92363) September 28, 2018
Others were concerned that their sons would someday be falsely accused.
God help our sons when in this day & age anyone can come forward, level an accusation, and magically its true. No longer is it innocent until proven guilty. Fakers, liars, and manipulative people want to do anything to hurt you these days. Sad. #ConfirmKavanaugh #IStandWithBrett
