Jenelle Evans has certainly had her own share of drama on MTV’s hit show Teen Mom 2. She’s been arrested, gone through a slew of bad relationships and had to fight for the custody of her son. Now the 27-year-old is going through more turmoil with her husband David Eason, so much so that all of the drama has her threatening to leave the show. At the end of last season, Evans claimed she was done with the show but was still “locked in a contract.” Her husband came under fire shortly before for a slew of homophobic tweets and was fired from the hit MTV show. Evans did not appear at the reunion and instead filmed her own segment.
But Evans is signed on for the new season…. we think. There has still been plenty of controversy surrounding the North Carolina native. Evans revealed that Eason himself told her to call it quits on the reality show. “He said, ‘You should just leave.’ He’s like, ‘Just do it while you can and get the income while you can,’” Evans told Us Weekly. She also said she wants to host her own reality show once she leaves MTV.
“I’m glad that I filmed as long as I did so far,” said Evans “so people can look at my old episodes and maybe learn from my past and up to now. As for my future, I don’t know what it holds and I don’t know what I’m gonna be doing. … I would like to be more professional, get more professional jobs in the entertainment business. Maybe hosting.”
It was also revealed that many crew members do not want to film with the Teen Mom 2 star because they are afraid of Eason. “They no longer feel comfortable working on Jenelle,” said a source. “There are some people who no longer feel safe going down there anymore because David has made it clear that he does not like the people from MTV, and that he has a ton of weapons. There have been multiple discussions among various crew member groups about the possibility of him coming to a location where we’re filming and opening fire if he’s in a bad mood or something, even if it’s just to scare us.”
The sneak peek for the dramatic new season of Teen Mom 2 shows Evans claiming “she’s done” and to “stay the f*ck away.” Could this mean she is officially done with the show? Only time will tell.
