Katherine Russell, the widow of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, has moved from Rhode Island to New Jerseyto live with her late husband’s sisters, according to the New York Post.
The 25-year-old, who converted to Islam for Tsarnaev, has not been charged or called to testify in the bombing case, though the Tsarnaev sisters,Ailina andBella, have previously faced charges of money-laundering and marijuana possession.
WCVB tracked Russell to North Bergen last week. When reporters caught up with her Saturday, the reclusive mother allegedly yelled, “Get out! Why don’t you leave us alone?”
Russell married Tsarnaev, the presumed master mind of the deadly 2013 terror attack, in 2010 and later gave birth to a daughter. Tsarnaev is believed to have carried out the attack with his brother, Dzhokhar, and later shot dead MIT police officer sean Collier. Tamerlan was killed during a shoot out with police, and Dzhokhar was taken into custody.
Both Tsarnaev sisters have visited Dzhokar in prison, according to prosecutors.
