Winners of ‘American Idol’: Where are they now?

After 14 seasons, TV series “American Idol” is coming to an end. The show that launched the careers of pop stars like Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson announced on Monday that this season will be its last. But what happened to the winners of the past 13 seasons? Here’s a look at where the stars landed.

1. Kelly Clarkson

The very first “Idol” winner is still going strong. Kelly Clarkson has won three Grammy Awards and guest spots on “American Dreams,” “The Voice,” “Nashville” and of course, “Idol.” Clarkson gave birth in June 2014 to River Rose Blackstock with her talent manager husband, Narvel Blackstock. Clarkson also released her newest album “Piece by Pie ce” in 2015.

2. Ruben Studdard

Though Ruben Studdard has not received the same amount of name recognition as his fellow “Idol” winners, he reappeared in the spotlight last year when he joined the cast of “The Biggest Loser.” Studdard became the weight loss show’s first celebrity guest, and lost a whopping 119 pounds. He is still singing, and released his album “Unconditional Love” at the same time as his appearance on “The Biggest Loser.”

Kelly. Barrino is also engaged to Kendall Taylor.</p> <div class=

Carrie Underwood</b></p> <p>One of the most successful “Idol” winners, Carrie Underwood is arguably the queen of country music. She is the only solo country artist to hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and she also ranked in Time Magazine’s Time 100. Underwood released a Greatest Hits album in December, and won her seventh Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance for “Something in the Water.” According to <a href=Forbes , Underwood is the highest-paid “Idol” alum. She is married to hockey player Mike Fisher and has one son, Isaiah Michael, with him.

Taylor Hicks</b></p> <p>Taylor HIcks has not recorded an album since 2009, but still tours the country performing for his fanbase, who call themselves “Soul Patrol.” Hicks took part on a Jimmy Fallon comedy album, which won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 2013.</p> <div class=

Jordin Sparks</b></p> <p>Jordin Sparks’ name still frequently appears in tabloids thanks to her rocky breakup with Jason Derulo. Sparks released a track in November called “How Bout Now” during which she slammed her ex, singing, “You suck right now.” Sparks is scheduled to release her third studio album, “Right Here, Right Now,” this month.</p> <div class=
