A baby girl was delivered in the back of an Uber car after exiting the Lincoln Tunnel on Monday evening, authorities and the company said.
A 32-year-old woman delivered a baby girl around 5:15 p.m. on Monday with help from her Uber driver, Erick Rodriguez, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police and responding EMTs.
RELATED: I was an undercover Uber driver The ride share company said in a statement they’re rewarding Rodriguez with tickets to the Yankees Game and a “deep clean for his vehicle.” The company said they plan to give the family a ride home to Hoboken and a onesie for the baby girl.
