Woman says she’s the wife of late singer Prince

According to TMZ, a woman named Claire Elisabeth Elliot has filed official court documents to remove Bremer Trust bank as the official administrator of the late singer Prince’s estate. Her reasoning? She’s his wife, and therefore the rightful heir to Prince’s stuff. Elliot claims to have a marriage certificate proving her relation to the singer, who died of an accidental overdose in April, but conveniently failed to include a copy in her filings. Minnesota court records also have no documentation of said union.

Maybe Claire just has an affinity for controversial paperwork. She also filed documents to run for United States President! A good look at our most recent election shows that she probably has a better chance at seeing that to fruition than getting a dime of Prince’s money. At least she has that going for her.
