Former WWE heavyweight champion Alberto Del Rio is being investigated for domestic battery after an incident at a Florida airport. Police would not confirm the name of the alleged victim, but witnesses say Del Rio was at the airport with his girlfriend and former WWE Divas champion Paige.
An audio tape of Del Rio and Paige at the airport was released Tuesday by TMZ, with Paige telling Del Rio, “leave me the f—k alone.”
Paige’s wrestling career has taken a nosedive since she began dating Del Rio, and she has violated the WWE’s “wellness policy” twice in the past year. A sex tape involving Paige and current WWE star Xavier Woods and former wrestler Brad Maddox was also leaked this year.
